Vac-Con's Successful Debut at No-Dig Live Show 2024

Vac-Con marked an exciting milestone as we participated in our first-ever No-Dig Live Show, showcasing a range of cutting-edge products and services to the vacuum excavation industry. Despite a challenging start on Tuesday, with wet and windy conditions impacting footfall, we were able to engage in valuable conversations with attendees. The show picked up on Wednesday and Thursday, proving to be incredibly productive, with our team having numerous insightful discussions with industry professionals.

Our stand, H12, located right by the main hall entrance, was strategically placed to ensure high visibility, with visitors passing by as they accessed the event. We were thrilled to showcase two standout pieces of equipment: Naaktgeboren’s innovative Vacu-Press® Suction Excavator, which took pride of place on one side of the stand, and our own recently refurbished suction excavator on the other. These two machines attracted considerable attention, with visitors impressed by their technical specs and comprehensive capabilities.

In addition to the machinery, we displayed a variety of essential vac-ex parts and components, including Hetronic remotes, pins, bushes, clamps, hoses, and more, highlighting our comprehensive parts department. This served as a great opportunity for visitors to learn about the wide range of products and services we offer to keep their equipment running at peak performance.

To create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, we also offered home-made cakes and cookies, along with an array of branded freebies such as pens, mugs, and lanyards—creating a fun and inviting experience for visitors. Our directors Simon Conroy and Luke Cook, along with our technicians, workshop manager, design engineering manager, and operators, were all present to interact with attendees, offering expert advice and showcasing the breadth of our services.

One of the highlights of our time at No-Dig Live was the announcement of two exciting new partnerships. We are now the exclusive UK distributor for Naaktgeboren’s Vacu-Press® Suction Excavator, bringing this revolutionary machine to the UK market. In addition, we’ve forged a new relationship with Longo Suction Excavators from Italy, introducing their Rhino Vacuum Suction technology to the UK.

Our first appearance at No-Dig Live was a resounding success, and we’re already looking forward to next year. The event gave us a fantastic platform to connect with industry professionals, share our expertise, and build lasting relationships. Vac-Con is excited to continue offering high-quality solutions to our customers, now with even more advanced equipment and new product offerings to meet the evolving needs of the vacuum excavation industry.
